125K funding for inclusive design projects - deadline July 1
Do you want to develop an inclusive design strategy or a new product? Design og arkitektur Norge (DOGA) is offering up to NOK 125K to both public and private organizations for innovation projects with a focus is on diversity and inclusion. DOGA's "Innovation for All" program is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Gender Equality in line with the government's action plan for universal design. The goal is to gain insights and develop user-friendly and inclusive products, services and solutions that contribute to achieving greater diversity. The application deadline is 1 July...go! go! go! How can Oslo work with growth companies to achieve circular economy goals for waste?
Oslo aims to increase the material recycling rate to a minimum of 65 percent and ensure that waste management will be virtually free of direct greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
A new report on circular economy and emission-free waste management is now available for review and public comment. It includes proposals for specific measures and instruments for household, municipal and industrial waste. Fast-forward to page 52 to see how Oslo can use it’s purchasing power to drive innovation here.

RRF Oslo: Regional Innovation Projects
Deadline: 21 September 2022
RRF Oslo has announced NOK 15 million for Regional Innovation Projects. Companies that receive funding must be in the position to lead an R&D project with a budget of NOK 2-4 million. For more information, read the announcement here.
R&D demonstration projects
Deadline: Rolling
Apply to The Research Council of Norway (Norges forskningsråd) to implement a demonstration project within the following themes: land-based food, environment and bio-resources.

SmartOslo
Deadline: Rolling
SmartOslo is municipal program that supports innovative pilot projects in Oslo. City entities partner with startups and apply for matching funds to test new technologies, products and services.
