2 public procurement opportunities in waste collection and digital monitoring

Startoff

The application deadline is 25 May 2021.

StartOff, a program that facilitates startup-friendly public procurements developed by DFØ, is now accepting applications for two fresh opportunities in coastal waste collection and digital monitoring.

Selected companies will receive up to NOK 450,000 to develop an MVP that meets the needs of the City of Kristiansand. The MVP can be a new or tailored solution and can be a door opener to more public contracts.

Here’s a bit more about the projects:

Streamline waste collection in coastal areas. The park service wants to see how waste from boat tourists in coastal recreation areas can be collected in a better way than the current solution.

Digital monitoring of public infrastructure: Develop a digital monitoring system that alerts the municipality about potential threats to infrastructure through smart use of sensor data related to water and sewage.
