On 15 March, we gathered 80 people - and filled up! - Mesh Youngstorget for the first edition of Speedfriending Afterwork. The project is a collaboration with Oslo Business Region and the Oslo-based startup Speedfriending to kick off socialising after two years of the pandemic.
The goal is to setup an informal meeting place for the startup ecosystem to connect entrepreneurs and young professionals, developers and designers, international and locals for a fun social evening. According to the survey, 95% of the attendees answered the event was useful. The average score was 4.6 (out of 5).
Speedfriending is speeddating’s friendly and fun twin sister, where the goal is to friendzone strangers through engaging and enjoyable conversations. Each conversation lasts for seven minutes, and is started with our ice-breaking questions based on current affairs and context.
