Bente Bratland Holm and Kjartan Slette join the Oslo Business Region board
To strengthen Oslo Business Region and the startup ecosystem in Oslo, we're happy to announce our newest board members.
Two new board members, Bente Bratland Holm and Kjartan Slette, were announced at the General Assembly 31 May 2022 by Vice Mayor for Business development and Public Ownership at the City of Oslo, Victoria Marie Evensen.
Bente Bratland Holm, independent/board member (former Director of VisitNorway, CEO of VisitOslo and founder of Norwegian Convention Bureau) and Kjartan Slette, Co-founder and COO of Unacast (former Head of strategy Tidal, Board member ICT Norway, and more), join head of board - Johan Chr. Hovland (Hafslund E-CO), Inger Johanne Solhaug (Insula AS) and Waseem Shad.
Oslo Business Region is very happy to strengthen Oslo Business Region and Oslo with two new members who brings extensive knowledge. Bente brings experience from promoting Oslo and Norway, strategy and connecting public and private interests. Kjartan has built and been part of several startup and scaleup successes and brings important experience about these topics and the startup and scaleup ecosystem.
Supporting the region in attracting more investment and more talent
The city council aims to increase Oslos visibility internationally as an attractive region for investment and talent. We will also ensure that even more growth companies contributing to sustainable job creation are created in Oslo. Bente Bratland Holm and Kjartan Slette add valuable expertise to the board for profiling and growth companies' need for support and facilitation, Victoria Marie Evensen (Labour Party), Vice Major of Business Develpoment and Public Ownership.
