The goal was to contribute to the commerce, service & restaurants, increase the city life and give our city a boost after pandemic restrictions.

The trade, service and catering industries in Oslo have been hit hard by the corona pandemic. Before the summer, the City announced NOK 34 million in grants for small and large measures that ensure increased trade and city life in the capital.

In total 67 projects got funding - from social entrepreneurship to festivals, concerts to local markets, including the Fjord Oslo lights festival (watch the video featured on Euronews here) at Aker Brygge and Bjørvika has been implemented around the City. Activities has been happening at Skøyen, Majorstua, Grünerløkka, Grønland, Tøyen and Bjørvika. Now the final projects come to light, getting the city ready for Christmas. #restartoslo2021
