Launch of the Startup to Scaleup

For the last 10 years, the number of startups and scaleups has grown massively in Oslo. Many thanks to the emerging startup ecosystem including incubators and accelerators, co-working communities, investors, educational institutions, and many more. Ambitious founders and startup talent are putting Oslo on the global startup map, having created several unicorns and hundreds of solutions solving pressing challenges in health, climate and green mobility.

Oslo Business Region invites you to learn more about the developments in the startup ecosystem in the Oslo region at a seminar gathering stakeholders in the ecosystem. Menon Economics, the maker of the report, will present fresh numbers and statistics.

The previous report published in February 2021 showed a 66% increase in scaleups the last 10 years, and 14,000 jobs created by startups and scaleups in total. At that point Oslo had 2200 startups and 188 scaleups.
