Klimato takes home the prize of 200 000 NOK and the title of Oslo Innovation Week 100 Pitches 2022 winner after competing against 270 other companies from 34 different countries.

ARGUMENT FROM THE JURY

The jury agreed that Klimato had and gave the most compelling viable pitch. “Furthermore, the solution tackles a huge problem facing the world but at the same time it holds great possibilities”, said the head of the jury Ieva when presenting the jury’s decision.

The final 8 companies pitched in front of a jury consisting of Lauga Oskarsdottir (Firda), Bjarne Lie (Verdane), Tanya Horowitz (Butterfly Ventures), Andreas Helbig (Atomico), Ieva Sibilla Strupule (Material Mapper), and Rasmus A. Figenschou (DnB).

ChargeBnB was officially founded in October 2020 in Norway to provide SaaS solutions to B2B clients with Private EV Chargers. They are currently active in Norway with headquarters in Oslo and have international ambitions. The company has gathered recognition in several start-up competitions and is now on its way towards establishing pilot and commercial relationships.

Grin makes smart collection systems that enable circularitty, Incentivizing returns and changing consumer behaviour, while providing all the data and insights necessary to optimise operations. GRIN was founded in Oslo in 2018 based on the idea that there must be a more sustainable alternative to single use shopping bags in the retail sector. Several concepts of a complete system for a reusable shopping bag were tested with local partners in Oslo.
