Club IPA Visits Oslo: A Gathering of Europe's Investment Promotion Agencies

The two day visit featured in-depth discussions on:

• The value and future steps of the Choose Europe initiative.

• Integrating new members and the importance of aligning with existing companies.

• The impact of place branding on foreign direct investment and talent attraction.

• The role of nightlife policies in urban development.

• How can we collaboratively work together on impact and set a collaborative framework

In addition to the formal sessions, we took the opportunity to show our guests the very best of Oslo which included Bjørvika, Hammerhai, Brasserie Rivoli, Salt, Munch, Grønland, Blå, Nedre Foss Gård, Sentralen, the Nobel Peace Center and the National Museum. Erling Fossen took us to many of these places on a guided walking tour which provided a deeper appreciation of the city’s heritage and vibrant cultural scene.

The Club IPA meeting in Oslo was a resounding success, marked by productive discussions and strengthened partnerships. We look forward to continuing these important conversations and collaborations in future meetings.
